Server Rankings

Server rankings are planned for Metin247, but they are not live. The directory currently shows illustrative sample listings, and there is no ranked list of real servers on this site. This page explains the principles we will follow, so you can judge any future ranking fairly.

Why rankings are tricky

Private servers differ in rules, population, language and style. A single number cannot say which one is best for you. A ranking should therefore be a starting point for discovery, never a verdict. We would rather show a few clear, honest signals than a long score with a hidden formula.

Methodology principles

• Transparent. The factors and how they are weighted will be published in plain language before any ranking appears.
• No paid ranks. Money will never buy a higher position. Sponsored banners, when they exist, are separate and clearly labelled.
• Verifiable signals. We prefer signals we can check, such as a working website and consistent information, over self-reported claims.
• No fabricated numbers. We will not show invented player counts, votes or scores.
• Anti-manipulation. Voting or traffic that looks automated will be discounted or removed.
• Fresh and fair. New and smaller servers should have a real chance to be discovered.

What may be considered

Possible inputs include completeness and accuracy of a listing, how long a server has been listed, community feedback collected fairly, and results from a future voting service. None of this is decided, and the final list may differ.

Disputes and corrections

If you think a future ranking treats your server unfairly, you will be able to write to [email protected], and we will review the case. Listing owners will also be able to ask for incorrect information to be fixed.
