Frequently Asked Questions

For players

Is Metin247 official?

No. It is an independent, unofficial fan hub. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Webzen, Gameforge or any server.

Are the servers in the directory real?

In this launch edition, listings are illustrative samples that show how the directory will work. Treat them as examples, not recommendations or verified data.

Why don't I see player counts or ratings?

We do not collect that data yet, and we refuse to invent numbers. The site is static and has no live telemetry. If counts ever appear, they will come from a clearly explained source.

Is voting live?

No. Voting is planned but does not exist yet. Nothing on the site records votes.

Can I claim coins or rewards?

No. There are no accounts, coins, rewards or payments on Metin247. Be wary of anyone who says otherwise in our name.

Is it safe to join a server I find here?

Joining any private server is at your own risk. Only download a client from a server's official site, never share your password, and be careful with unknown files. See our safety guides for practical advice.

For server admins

How do listings work?

Listings are written by hand from information we receive and from public details. A listing is informational only and does not mean we endorse or have verified a server.

How do I submit a server?

Email [email protected] with your server's public website name, a short description, your playstyle and any rules you want shown. Tell us who to contact for corrections. We review submissions manually, and we cannot promise inclusion or timing.

Can I update or remove my listing?

Yes, write to the same address and we will update or remove it.

Can I pay for a better position?

There are no paid placements or payments of any kind at this time.

About the site and the guides

Are the guides official or tested on every server?

No. They describe general concepts and are not verified for any particular server. Values and rules vary, so check your server's own wiki before acting.

Do you recommend bots, hacks or shortcuts?

Never. We do not support cheating, botting, exploiting, real-money trading or bypassing anti-cheat measures.

Which features are planned?

Tools, voting, an events calendar, a community server and a marketplace are all planned and marked coming soon. None of them exists yet.

Still stuck?
