Officers entered the home and found the parents and children dead inside.
The children had last been seen on Sunday, according to Fox26, before their bodies were found in their beds.
Police said they are treating the case as a murder-suicide.
Officials have not released further details about the crime scene.
The couple owned Traveler’s Table, a Houston restaurant.
Matthew had previously served as CEO of the Texas Center for Drug Development, according to his website biography.
A publicist for the family’s restaurant told the Daily Mail that Thy was a “dear friend.”
Just days before her death she had shared a sweet post with her daughter as they looking for her sister’s wedding later this year.
Matthew’s restaurant biography said he studied in France, Italy, and at Oxford University in England.
It said he worked as a journalist in London and New York City early in his career.
After returning to Texas, he attended Rice University.
He then moved into the pharmaceutical industry and became president and CEO of the Texas Center for Drug Development.
He later opened Traveler’s Table with Thy.
In September 2025, the couple were named Restaurateurs of the Year in Houston.
Neighbors were left stunned by the deaths in one of Houston’s wealthiest communities.
The River Oaks area is known for streets lined with multi-million dollar homes.
One neighbor, Cindy, told Click2 she had lived there for 19 years and had “never seen anything like this.”
“We haven’t had these kinds of tragedies. We don’t have robberies,” she said.
