The aspiring chef’s online popularity appears to have dipped as tensions with his parents and siblings escalate
Brooklyn Beckham’s decision to cut ties with his family appears to be taking a toll on his social media following, according to new data.
The aspiring chef, 26, and his actress wife Nicola Peltz, 31, have distanced themselves from the rest of the Beckham clan in recent months, including unfollowing parents Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, as well as siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
It was reported last week that Brooklyn Beckham has issued his parents with a cease and desist letter, instructing them to contact him only through lawyers.
Despite rarely being out of the headlines as the family rift deepens, the continuing fall-out is understood to have cost Brooklyn an average of 188 followers a day over the past month.
While he still boasts around 16 million followers, the dip is notable given he earns income through online cooking tutorials and the promotion of his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.

For influencers and entrepreneurs operating in the digital space, even modest fluctuations in follower numbers can carry commercial implications, particularly when audience engagement is closely tied to brand partnerships and product launches.
By comparison, David and Victoria’s social media fortunes appear unaffected by the family drama.
David, one of the most followed British sports stars on the platform, boasts 88.5 million followers, while Victoria has 33.4 million. Both have seen their audiences continue to grow, with figures showing they have gained an average of 2,633 followers a day over the same period.
A source for Ace.com, which collates day-to-day follower figures, told the Sun: “Follower trends show where audience attention and engagement sit. The data points to a notable divergence in public sentiment.”
Nicola’s recent online activity is also unlikely to ease tensions, after she appeared to like two comments referencing the family feud.

One read: “I’m glad Brooklyn was able to join such a nice family.”
Another added: “I’m sorry but no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. There’s obviously a reason why Brooklyn doesn’t speak with his parents. No child would ever choose to cut off their parents without good reason.”
The Standard has contacted a representative for Brooklyn Beckham for comment.
