Megyn Kelly discussed this case in one of her episodes, The Megyn Kelly Show, airing on March 18, where she had a chat with Jonathan Gilliam, an ex-FBI agent. The host also used information from Crime Stories With Nancy Grace, where Nancy Grace interviewed tattoo artist Darren Rosa.

Jonathan Gilliam cautioned that the claims need to be carefully evaluated. “It could be a lot of things,” the former FBI agent admitted. “And that’s the trouble, Megyn, with all this supposed evidence it’s basically speculation. Nancy Grace tends to hype things up, you know. So, it could be…”

He also questioned how much information can really be gathered from the tattoo snippet. “I don’t see how you get that from the wrist. I don’t understand how that interpretation comes about… There are plenty of people who get tattoo sleeves, especially in Arizona it’s a thing.”

However, despite the disbelief, Gilliam stated that tattoos can still help in the investigation because they are commonly entered into law enforcement records. “Even that small detail,” he said. “If someone has been arrested and they have tattoos, those tattoos get recorded. So there could be a database that matches that feature. And someone just has to connect the dots.”
