Nancy Guthrie’s neighbor has revealed details about the authorities’ investigation into her disappearance.

The search continues for the 84-year-old mother of Today’s Savannah Guthrie, who went missing from her home just north of Tucson, Arizona, on February 1. She was last seen at the property on January 31 at around 9:30 p.m.

As the FBI continue to comb through leads, Aldine Meister, a woman who has lived in the Catalina Foothills for almost 30 years, has shared what kind of questions the authorities are using to aid in their discovery of Nancy. This comes after a mystery man who claimed he “saw Nancy 5 days ago” offered chilling new proof.

While appearing on the March 9 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, she admitted the authorities visited her residence “quite a few times” to interrogate her and her husband Matt, as well as their next door neighbors that they are close to.

She shared, “They would be at our house and then go to the friend’s house and say, ‘Hey, do you know those people? Are they nice? Do you trust them?’”

Aldine said the rest of the questions were “pretty normal,” however, she recalled a moment in the questioning that “connected with me.”

“They did ask me about January 11th and that was about the time I saw the strange guy,” she said.

Weeks before Nancy went missing, Aldine recalled seeing a young man through her bathroom window walking down her street.

Showing Brian the view from her window, she said, “I saw him out there. So I couldn’t make out his face, although his hat was way down. He was walking down the road, I saw him and I was like, ‘Ohhhhh that guy doesn’t fit.’”

Aldine attempted to “get information out” of the cops about the significance of January 11 but to no avail.

The host believes their questioning of the date weeks prior to her disappearance could have to do with the footage the FBI released.

A few weeks after the incident, the FBI released footage from Nancy’s Google Nest that shows a potential subject wearing dark gloves as he walked up to her front door. Along with gloves, the subject was also wearing a zip-up hoodie, a pair of sweats, a backpack, and a balaclava.

Despite finding a visual of the potential subject, the authorities have yet to name a suspect nor find Nancy.

Concern first grew Sunday morning when Nancy failed to attend her local mass on Sunday, February 1. Shortly after that, the Pima County Sheriff’s office deemed her home a “crime scene” after discovering concerning evidence inside the property.

Sheriff Chris Nanos admitted, “We do believe that Nancy was taken from her home against her will, and that’s where we’re at.”
