Former Migos rapper Offset reportedly shot at Florida casino, representatives say

ATLANTA (ANF/Gray News) — Former Migos rapper Offset was reportedly shot at a Florida casino Monday night, a representative for the rapper confirmed.

The Lawrenceville native, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Seminole County police said a shooting happened around 7 p.m. in a valet area. Two people have been detained, police said.

“Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal,” police said in a statement.

Police said Offset was hospitalized at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood with non-life-threatening injuries.

A representative for the rapper said he is “currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”

Migos rapper Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed in Houston in 2022. The group split after Takeoff’s death.

Offset was previously married to Cardi B between 2017 and 2022. The couple have three children together.
