Savannah Guthrie Issues $1 Million Reward for Missing Mother on Day 24 of Abduction
NEW YORK — In a heartbreaking video shared on the 24th day since her mother’s disappearance, Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie has announced a $1,000,000 reward for any information leading to the return of her mother, Nancy Guthrie.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on January 31, 2026. What began as a missing persons case was quickly escalated to a kidnapping investigation by the FBI and local authorities.
A Message of Faith and Heartbreak
The announcement was marked by an emotional plea from Savannah, who acknowledged the grim reality that the family is now facing.
“We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves, and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad, and with her beloved brother, Pierce, and with our daddy,” Savannah shared.
“And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.”
The Reward Details
The $1 million reward offered by the Guthrie family is intended to incentivize anyone with direct knowledge of the abduction or Nancy’s current location to come forward. This is in addition to the $100,000 reward previously issued by the FBI.
