In the early hours of Saturday, 28 March 2026, Chloe left a house party on Kennerleigh Avenue in Austhorpe, Leeds. Friends say she had been enjoying herself earlier but decided to leave after the gathering turned chaotic and a heated argument broke out. She sent a desperate message to a friend asking to be picked up because “it was all getting out of hand.” Witnesses reported raised voices, with some accounts mentioning a row involving a boy. A small group reportedly followed her shortly after she stepped outside alone.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder on 2 April and remains in custody. Police continue to appeal urgently for any video footage of the incident that may be circulating on social media, believing it could help piece together exactly what happened in Chloe’s final moments.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle has stressed that the investigation remains active and dynamic, with a commitment to bringing all those responsible to justice.
