When it comes to love, Brooklyn Beckham wears his heart on his tattoo sleeve. Like his father, the 26-year-old has become known for his wide range of body art, with the chef amassing around 100 tattoos so far – and more than half of them are dedicated to his wife Nicola Peltz.

“She always cries when I get her another tattoo,” he told USA Today in 2022. “I always love to surprise her with new ink.” Having been with Nicola, 30, since 2019, Brooklyn estimates that he has about 70 tattoos dedicated to his wife. However, he used to also have one dedicated to his mum, Victoria, but this appears to have been covered – by another gushing tribute to Nicola. The couple’s Glamour Germany photoshoot revealed that Brooklyn has given his “mama’s boy” tattoo, etched over his heart, a floral makeover, seemingly in tribute to his wife Nicola’s wedding bouquet.

The fresh images reveal Brooklyn’s new tattoo of flowers covering the “mama’s boy” inscription he got back in 2018 as an homage to his mum Victoria. The aspiring chef has around 100 tattoos, with nearly 70 are tributes to Nicola and her family. Brooklyn got his tribute to Posh Spice in 2018 when he labelled himself a mama’s boy.

So, as the Beckham feud shows no sign of abating after Brooklyn and Nicola swerved David Beckham’s 50th birthday last month, here’s a look at the wannabe chef’s extensive tattoo selection…

Romantic gestures

Rather than opting for any old designs, the photographer is no stranger of selecting sentimental quotes and phrases to adorn his body. Among his tattoos is the word ‘married’, which is inked on the side of his left hand. “I kind of was just like, ‘Oh, we’re married, why not?’,” he told USA Today. “It wasn’t a thing I thought about for months. I got married five months ago, why not?”

As well as this, in addition to sporting a wedding band, Brooklyn has Nicola’s first initial tattooed on his ring finger alongside a heart. Not stopping there, he has the word ‘lover’ inked on his index finger and has ‘Nicola Anne Peltz’ and the word ‘baby’ tattooed on the upper part of his hand.

After tying the knot, Nicola and Brooklyn opted for the double barrel surname, ‘Peltz Beckham’. In homage to his wife’s maiden name, just months after getting married Brooklyn got ‘Peltz’ tattooed across his chest in July 2022.

Wedding vows

But that’s not all. As well as having the word ‘married’ to indicate his relationship status, Brooklyn also has a copy of his wedding vows inked on the underside of his upper-right arm, spanning from his armpit to his elbow.

“Let me start by saying that words cannot even describe my love for you just looking at you I see my future and it feels like a dream. You are my world and I continue to fall more in love with you every single day,” part of it reads.

Finishing off the lengthy tattoo, the passage ends: “I promise to be the best partner, the best husband and man and to always take care of you, to make you laugh, feel safe and more importantly, loved.

“I can’t wait to live out our dreams together and have lots of babies and be yours forever because you are forever mine.”

Emotional letters

While things don’t quite get more special than wedding vows, the hopeless romantic also has a love letter from Nicola inked on his neck. In the sweet note, the Transformers actress addresses her “forever boy”.

It says: “You have the kindest heart I’ve ever met and hope I never go a day without your love. I think you are so incredible. Just we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond. Love always, your future wifey.”

But away from the romantic words, Brooklyn has an impressive portrait of Nicola on the upper portion of his left arm. Unveiling the ink in March 2023 while on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Brooklyn explained that underneath the design were the lyrics from the song Nicola walked down the aisle to.

In 2020, Nicola’s beloved grandmother, Gina, sadly died on the night before her birthday. In memory of Gina, Brooklyn got a tattoo dedicated to her, which made for a touching birthday gift for the actress. Sharing a photo of the ink, which featured Gina’s name written on his arm, Nicola wrote: “Best birthday gift.”

In 2022, Brooklyn surprised Nicola yet again by getting the words of a prayer loved by Gina tattooed on his torso. “Focused on the present, sincere towards others and trusting in ourselves, know that you cannot fail,” it reads.
