The Traitors reveal a second secret relationship in the game following a shock banishment at breakfast
Viewers were left with another jaw-dropping moment last night when personal trainer Ross Garshong was voted off the show.
But that wasn’t the only shock – just moments after his fellow contestant, psychologist Dr Ellie Buckley revealed another bombshell – that he is her boyfriend.
Ross , 37, was banished following the breakfast meet-up up but when the camera panned to an emotional Ellie, she revealed: ‘I’m really sad to see him go, especially because Ross is actually my boyfriend.’
Suspicion about the two knowing each other began the moment they boarded the train in the Scottish Highlands in the first episode, which was screened last Wednesday.
The pair, both from London, were sitting opposite one another and were deemed by viewers as being too familiar for supposedly meeting for the first time.
And earlier this week a group photo – which includes Ross and Ellie – from a work trip in June 2024 also surfaced, confirming they knew each other before the show.

They have also both posted holiday snaps from the same Tenerife location since filming ended last May.
Ellie shared snaps in a bikini, thought to be taken at the swanky Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, and captioned them: ‘Some winter sun is good for the soul.’
Ross, who is a fifth-ranked muscle model in Europe, also posted two Instagram snaps on a trip captioned: ‘Suns out, guns out. Holiday gains in Tenerife! Quick question – do you train on holiday?’
He had also ‘liked’ a post shared by Ellie on LinkedIn back in July, although it is unclear whether this was before or after filming.
They are the second confirmed secret connection on the show, as it was revealed in the first episode that Judy Wilson, 60, who has been banished, and Roxy, 32, are mother and daughter.
Ross said he had been ‘dealt a bad hand’ after coming under suspicion on day one for knowing Netty Österberg, 42.
The pair revealed they had mutual friends when they both lived in London, but hadn’t seen each other in over 10 years, so the reunion came as a surprise to both.
When conducting background checks, BBC bosses found that Netty and Ross followed each other on social media, but the link was tenuous, and they didn’t want to not cast them because of it.

The Traitors contestant Ross’ connection to AJ Odudu revealed as cosy pictures surface
Mike Cotton, Creative Director at Studio Lambert, told the Daily Mail that neither player was warned ahead of the opening scene, as they wanted to watch their natural reaction on-screen for the first time and see how it played out in the game.
Netty’s stunned look quickly turned to excitement as she jumped into Ross’s arms after exiting the black 4x4s, while Ross was more reserved, making the reunion slightly awkward.
She then points to Ross and screams to the group, ‘I know him!’
Ross later explained that he was worried people would be suspicious of them. ‘Seeing Netty for the first time, I was like oh can we keep…,’ he said, while pretending to zip his mouth shut.
‘But she is a very honest person, and I didn’t want to betray her, and it was really nice to see her. In the back of my mind, I was thinking this looks a bit suss.’
Netty later became the first player ‘murdered’ in the game, which soon cast suspicion on Ross, with Traitors Stephen Libby, 32, Rachel Duffy, 42, and Hugo Bailey, 51, taking the opportunity to frame him.
