Asuspicious person has been arrested for DUI near Nancy Guthrie’s home after strangely driving past the house “50 to 100 times,” according to a new video report by journalist Brian Entin, who’s been stationed outside the crime scene covering the case.

84-year-old Nancy has now been missing for almost a month, and in her latest social media update on Tuesday, Savannah Guthrie announced the family is offering a $1 million reward for information that leads to the location of their dear mother.

Reporter Says Arrested Driver Had Picture of Nancy Guthrie

Entin started his coverage of Thursday night’s strange happenings near the home by telling his viewers, “I’m outside Nancy Guthrie’s house, and there are some weird people that show up out here. He then panned to a blue Chevrolet and said, “There’s this car right here who literally drove by like 50 to 100 times very slowly. It was just weird.”

The reporter went on to say the car repeatedly went by the memorial to Nancy that has been erected by neighbors, and “just kept stopping.” He continued, “Then, one of the other photographers with the media tried to talk to him and saw that he had a picture of Nancy Guthrie on his phone in the car, and was looking at it while he was driving by for like the fiftieth time.”

Entin then panned to footage of law enforcement with the driver and said the sheriff’s office had been talking to him for around 20 minutes. Entin observed that it appeared the officers were attempting to find a translator.

“It’s probably nothing,” the reporter surmised, but acknowledged, “It is weird. There’s some real creepy people that come by. That’s the latest outside the house.”

Shortly after documenting law enforcement speaking to the suspicious driver, Entin returned with the update, “He was arrested. It turns out he was arrested for DUI. We watched the whole thing happen right here outside the house. They got him out of the car and did field sobriety tests, and he ended up getting arrested so they took him away.”

Entin called the incident “weird,” before adding no cars are allowed to park on Nancy’s street, and news reporters and anyone else who wants to visit the scene must walk a mile to reach the home.

TMZ says they’ve reached out to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department for more info about the reported DUI arrest, and not heard back.
