Accused psycho surgeon Michael McKee nabbed at fast food chain after allegedly killing ex-wife, her dentist husband

His meal came with a side of handcuffs.

Accused killer surgeon Michael McKee was busted at a popular fast food chain in Illinois over a week after allegedly shooting his ex-wife, Monique Tepe, and her new husband dead in their Ohio home last month.

Michael McKee, 39, was nabbed at a Chick-fil-A near his Rockford medical practice just after 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 10 by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for the twisted double slayings, according to federal authorities, WTVO reported.

The vascular surgeon was employed by OSF Saint Anthony when he allegedly trekked some 325 miles to Columbus, Ohio, where he’s accused of gunning down Monique and Spencer Tepe on Dec. 30.

McKee was taken into custody after police traced his car to the Tepes’ home the night of the heinous killings.

Columbus police have described the murders as a “targeted” domestic violence act and revealed cops have recovered the gun believed to have been used to fatally shoot Spencer and Monique, who McKee was married to for two years.

The former couple’s short-lived marriage ended in 2017, when Monique, 39, filed for divorce.

While court records indicated the split was amicable, her grief-stricken family has since spoken out, accusing McKee of being emotionally abusive during their brief marriage.

The pair had no children together.

Monique married her second husband, Spencer, a 37-year-old prominent local dentist, in December 2020, according to their obituary.

Prosecutors alleged the suspected gunman used a silencer when he snuck into the Tepe’s Columbus home in the middle of the night and shot them dead in their bedroom, leaving their two children, ages 4 and 1, unharmed in another room.

Investigators have not determined a motive in the killings.

McKee, who holds medical licenses in both Illinois and California, was indicted on four counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated burglary.

HORROR AFTER A 911 CALL: Neighbors reported hearing “guttural screams” tearing through the night outside a quiet Scottsdale home. When police arrived, they were met with a scene few could comprehend — a mother, bloodied and stabbed, lying outside the garage. What officers discovered next was even more disturbing: her 24-year-old daughter, Ashland Trinity Crank, kneeling over her body, unclothed except for a head covering, frozen in place as sirens filled the air.
The search for Nancy Guthrie has moved from the streets of Arizona to the driveway of her own son-in-law. Authorities have seized Tommaso Cioni’s car for forensic processing after blood evidence at the home raised red flags that could no longer be ignored. Sources say the mood on the ground has shifted from ‘search and rescue’ to ‘homicide investigation.’ As the timeline tightens around the family, the 6th-grade teacher is now standing at the center of a storm. Is the truth hidden in the DNA of that impounded car?
The net is closing in on Tommaso Cioni. New reports suggest that Savannah Guthrie’s brother-in-law is now a prime suspect after a dark secret emerged—a massive, unpaid gambling debt that has been haunting his finances. Being the last person to have contact with the 84-year-old mother before she vanished, his ‘calm’ demeanor is now being viewed through a much darker lens. Law enforcement is ‘looking at everyone,’ but the trail of money leads straight to a potential motive for abduction.
