Princess Kate brings back 19-year-old accessory
The Princess of Wales marked her 44th birthday on 9 January with a new video on social media to wrap up her Mother Nature series, in which she has narrated a video for each of the four seasons.
In the video Kate revived an accessory that she first wore nearly two decades ago to the 2007 Cheltenham Festival – a brown and blue paisley cashmere scarf by Katherine Hooker.
Back in 2007, a then-25-year-old Kate styled the scarf with a pale blue tweed blazer, a brown skirt, a beret-style hat and knee-high boots.
In her latest video,the princess wore the scarf by Katherine Hooker with her Barbour x Alexa Chung ‘Elfie’ jacket and her Iris & Ink ‘Eloise’ jumper underneath.

Christmas decorations are removed from The Royal Palace in Stockholm
Today is the 20th day of Christmas, marking the official end to the festive holiday in Sweden. Many Swedish homes will be stripped of their decorations, including The Royal Palace of Stockholm.
According to the official Instagram account for the Swedish Royal Family, some of the Palace’s decorations will be sent to a recycling facility, while others are made into chips for biofuel.

The Duchess of Edinburgh stepped out on a solo outing on Monday as she visited England Hockey at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, where she took part in a training session with the team’s goalkeeper, Miriam Pritchard.
But did you notice how the royal finessed the quickest shoe change? Upon arrival at the centre, Sophie donned a pair of heeled ankle boots before speedily changing into a pair of trainers.

Prince Harry’s friend gets engaged
Reality star Sophie Stanbury has announced her engagement to businessman and long term partner Mark Wilson.
The Ladies of London star, 50, who is a friend of Prince Harry’s according to Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, took to Instagram on Sunday with photos of the proposal, which took place during a stroll in the country.
In the caption, Sophie penned: “A VERY special day, in a very special place. And to my darling Mark, how did I get so lucky? Thank you for making me the happiest I could be, starting this year engaged, planning our new home and life together but best of all knowing that you’ll be by my side forever.”

Florist behind Prince William and Princess Kate’s 2011 wedding to be honoured
Shane Connolly, who was behind the floral arrangements chosen for Prince and Princess of Wales’s royal wedding in 2011, will be awarded an MBE for services to sustainable floristry at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle today.
Shane, who transformed Westminster Abbey with six field maples and two hornbeams to reflect Prince William and Kate’s love of the English countryside, also took care of the floral arrangements for the then Prince of Wales and the then Duchess of Cornwall’s blessing in Windsor in 2005, and their coronation in 2023.
