SHOCKING pictures show the chaos after a car ploughed into a crowd of pedestrians in Central London, leaving one woman in critical condition.
The graphic images, taken from footage circulating online, appear to show the aftermath as a woman was seemingly trapped underneath the vehicle.

In the pictures the car can be seen surrounded by pedestrians as it suddenly shoots forward.
Passers-by then rush to help the woman who was seemingly hit by the car.
A man who appears to be locking an e-bike is also struck by the car and falls to the ground.
The crash occurred at around 4.30am this morning on Argyll Street, Soho, near Inca nightclub. The busy road is also home to London Palladium and connects Oxford Street with Great Marlborough Street.

Two arrested after synagogue targeted in attempted firebombing
The incident left a woman in her 30s in critical condition and a man in his 50s with life-changing injuries.
A second woman in her 30s is suffering from minor injuries, the Metropolitan Police said.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink driving and she remains in custody.
Officers have confirmed the incident is not being treated as terror-related.

A spokesperson said: “Police attended with the London Ambulance Service. A woman – aged in her 30s – was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
“A man in his 50s sustained life-changing injuries, and was taken to hospital. A third woman, aged in her 30s, was treated for minor injuries.”
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, of Specialist Crime South, said: “As our enquiries continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones.
“While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or any activity prior to it that they feel may be of relevance, to come forward.
“The information you have – however minor you believe it may be – could be of crucial importance to investigators.”
