“Of course, there’s a good chance to have a rematch because I’m still active – it’s only if he will come back that’s possible.”

But only last week Mayweather floated the idea of facing heavyweight legend Mike Tyson in an exhibition bout.

He claimed he had signed a contract to fight Iron Mike, just over a year after the former world champion faced off against YouTuber Jake Paul.

Mayweather – who finished his pro career with an unblemished record of 50-0 hasn’t fought since summer 2024.

That came in a farcical fight against John Gotti III – the grandson of notorious crime boss John Gotti – which was stopped before his rival attempted to carry on fighting.

He’s also fought Deji – the brother of YouTuber KSI, Logan Paul and kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

Pacquiao, meanwhile, returned to professional boxing last year to challenge WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, but the contest was scored as a draw.

Previously he fought in exhibitions against DK Yoo and Rukiya Anpo.
