Savannah Guthrie revealed in a desperate new plea for help that her family’s $1 million reward for any information that leads to the return of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, will be paid in cash, and the tipster can remain anonymous.
The “Today” show star shared a clip of the NBC program on Friday that explained how anyone with key information about the 84-year-old grandma’s disappearance can submit a tip and collect the reward without revealing their identity.
If authorities are able to track down Nancy Guthrie based on the tip, the tipster can meet with the family at an agreed-upon “neutral location,” such as a post office, and claim the seven-figure prize.
Savannah Guthrie revealed that the $1 million reward for any information that leads to the return of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, will be paid in cash and can collect it while remaining anonymous.
An ID is not required.
All that’s needed is a 7-digit PIN number associated with the tip.
“We need to know where she is, we need her to come home,” Guthrie said Friday in an Instagram video about her mom, who has not been seen or heard from since she was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home on Feb. 1.

“For that reason we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads us to her recovery,” the news anchor continued.
“Someone out there knows something that can bring her home. Somebody knows and we are begging you to please come forward now,” Guthrie said.
Twenty-eight days after she was abducted, Nancy Guthrie has not been located and authorities have yet to identify a suspect — despite thousands of tips and doorbell footage that shows an armed, masked man on her front porch the night she was taken.
No ID is needed to pick up the cash reward.
Since the Guthrie family announced they were offering the mammoth sum for the return of the matriarch earlier this week, the FBI has received more than 1,500 tips, the agency said Friday.
Separately, the FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to Guthrie’s location, and at least $102,500 is being offered by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
Savannah Guthrie said this week her family continues to pray that her mom will return alive, telling her followers on social media, “We still believe in a miracle.”
However, she also grimly acknowledged that her mother may well be dead.

“We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in Heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy,” Savannah said.
“And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home,” she added.
