According to early reports, a woman identified as Brenda Meza is now being sought for questioning after allegedly making a troubling confession to her spouse involving a 13-year-old student. The call reportedly prompted authorities to rush to the scene—but by the time officers arrived, the former school employee had already packed her belongings and disappeared. What began as a private conversation inside a home has now turned into a fast-moving investigation, with officials working to determine exactly what happened and where she may have gone.

Greeley police are looking for a former Greeley-Evans School District 6 employee accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old student for several months.

On Thursday, police responded to the 2000 block of 6th Avenue looking for Meza after receiving reports of sexual assault involving a staff member from District 6 and the 13-year-old. Attempts to contact Meza have been unsuccessful, according to the release.
