STALKER ON A MISSION? Mystery Driver Nabbed After 100 Creepy Laps Outside Nancy Guthrie’s Home — Gripping Photo of Missing Mom Like a Chilling Trophy

A man was arrested for a DUI outside Nancy Guthrie’s Arizona home late Thursday after he was allegedly seen driving by “50 to 100 times” while looking at a photo of the missing grandmother on his phone.

The “weird” behaving driver was nabbed after the media spotted him slowly driving past Guthrie’s home in Tucson in a blue vehicle and repeatedly stopping to look at a memorial set up outside, according to NewsNation’s Brian Entin.

The man, who hasn’t been identified publicly, allegedly had an image of Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old missing mom on his phone as he was inching past the home, Entin claimed.

Pima County Sheriff’s officers eventually stopped the driver after they were alerted to the bizarre behavior and quizzed him for roughly 20 minutes.

The driver ended up being cuffed on a DUI charge after failing a sobriety test, Entin alleged.

“It’s probably like nothing but, like, it is weird. There’s some just like some creepy people that come by,” he said.

The sheriff’s office hasn’t commented on the arrest.

It came just hours after the FBI pulled back much of its investigative team as the baffling saga surrounding Guthrie’s disappearance neared its fourth week.

Guthrie, the mom of “Today” show host Savannah, was reported missing on Feb. 1 after she didn’t show up to watch a church service.

Security footage recovered from Guthrie’s doorbell camera captured a masked man loitering on her doorstep the night police believe she was kidnapped.
