The Franciscan University of Steubenville said it was mourning the loss of the two students whose bodies were discovered on campus on Monday.

“Luke Reimer, 20, of Indian Shores, Florida, and Mary Mich of Downington, Pennsylvania, were found inside a motor vehicle shortly after noon in the parking lot of St. Agnes Residence Hall,” the Ohio-based uni said in a heartbreaking statement.

“This news brings profound sorrow to the entire Franciscan University community.”

Steubenville Police said the bodies were found after officers responded to a welfare check in the 1500 block of University Boulevard.
