THE heartbreaking details of Renee Good’s final moments have been revealed by her family as they share the results of an independent autopsy.
The mom-of-three was shot and killed in her vehicle by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on January 7, triggering protests across the city about the actions of ICE in their immigration crackdown.

Now, via their lawyer, Good’s family have revealed that their autopsy showed the 37-year-old was shot by Agent Ross at least three times.
She suffered wounds to her head, arm, and breast, the family lawyers at Romanucci & Blandin revealed.
Two gunshots, one to her left forearm, and another to her right breast, were ruled as not immediately life threatening.
The one to her chest did not puncture any major organs, according to the preliminary findings of the autopsy.

A third bullet entered the left side of her head near the temple and went through to exit on the right side.
The autopsy also noted that she sustained a graze “consistent with a firearm injury, but with no penetration.”
Last week, the Minneapolis Fire and Police departments concluded Good had been shot four times in total.
Medics found her unresponsive in her SUV and her face was smeared in blood, according to the EMS report seen by the Minnesota Star Tribune.
“We believe the evidence we are gathering and will continue to gather in our investigation will suffice to prove our case,” lead lawyer Antonio M. Romanucci told Newsweek as they seek to prove Agent Ross acted unlawfully.
“The video evidence depicting the events of January 7, 2026, is clear, particularly when viewed through the standards of reasonable policing and totality of circumstances,” he continued.

“Additionally, our legal team will continue its unwavering and proactive advocacy for Renee’s life and her family.”
They say the independent autopsy was carried out by a “highly respected” and credentialed medical pathologist.
As the FBI continues to investigate her death, the results of an official autopsy by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner have not yet been shared with Good’s family or their legal team, the lawyers said.
Agent Ross has not been charged with a crime and the Trump administration says he acted in self-defence.
After the shooting, Department of Homeland Security officials claim Ross was taken to hospital with internal bleeding, though they also added that he was quickly released.
