Father Speaks Out After 15-Year-Old Daughter Dies From ‘Benadryl Challenge’ That Left Her Brain Dead

The heartbroken father of a 15-year-old left “brain dead” after taking part in a dangerous social media “challenge” has revealed his teenage daughter has now died from her injuries.

Leah Presson, 15, was left with “zero brain activity” after participating in the so-called “Benadryl challenge”, a viral contest sweeping the US that medical experts warn can quickly spiral into life-threatening territory.

The challenge, which sees people consume the allergy medication in dangerously high doses in order to cause a high with hallucinations, first emerged in 2020 – but has been steadily gaining momentum again in recent weeks.
