Tiger Woods has returned to Florida six weeks after a stint out of the country to seek treatment following his car crash and DUI charge.

The professional golfer, 50, was spotted landing back in Florida on Wednesday, May 13, one day before the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.

TMZ published photos of Woods exiting his private jet at Palm Beach International Airport on Wednesday night, which they reported had flown in from Zurich, Switzerland.

The five-time Masters champion wore a black hat, jacket and sunglasses in the photos snapped upon his arrival.

Woods has pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge following his arrest after crashing his Range Rover on a two-lane road near his home in Jupiter Island, Fla., on March 27.

Deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said they found two hydrocodone pills in Woods’ pants pocket at the scene, and after issuing a sobriety test, “observed several signs of impairment,” including “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and “extremely dilated” pupils, they alleged in a probable cause affidavit obtained by PEOPLE.

Days after his arrest, the athlete announced in a statement posted on X that he was “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment” and focus on his health.

“This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery,” he said at the time.

His lawyers also successfully petitioned a judge to allow Woods to leave the country for his treatment due to “privacy” concerns.

On April 19, a source told PEOPLE exclusively that Woods is hoping to make a golf comeback after seeking treatment.

Per the golf insider, the athlete “desperately” wants to return to the sport, and that is motivating him to stick with his treatment.

“He knows he needs to beat his issues and also deal with the pain from not only playing golf but also from his regular fitness schedule,” the source explained. “People around him are supporting him, both personally and professionally. All of this is helping him deal with it enough to get through it.”

“He just wants to get better in all areas of his life,” the source said.
