FBI agents say they believe there is still no communication between Nancy Guthrie’s kidnappers and her family.
Agents say they are working around the clock, leaving no stone unturned in the battle to get the 84-year-old grandmother home safely after she went missing on February 1.

Officials said in a statement that they will continue to do all they can “to reunite Nancy Guthrie with her family but added that they are “not aware of any continued communication between the Guthrie family and suspected kidnappers.”
They also say they still have not “identified a suspect or person of interest in this case at this time.”
The FBI will continue to send additional personnel from field offices across the country to Tucson, it said, but stressed they still need the public to rack their brains for anything they may have seen.
“We are currently operating a 24-hour command post that includes crisis management experts, analytic support, and investigative teams. But we still need the public’s help,” a spokesperson said, according to NBC News.

CHURCH SERVICE CONFUSION
The update comes as a new report cleared up exactly when Nancy was reported missing on February 1.
Initial reports indicated that grandmother Nancy had been due to attend an in-person church service in Tuscon, but had failed to show up.
Now family sources have told Fox News that is not accurate and instead revealed how Nancy was due to meet with a group of close friends who worshipped together.
The group had been due to meet and link in to a New York–based church service via livestream.
The service was broadcast live from a New York church and attended by her daughter, Savannah Guthrie.
It is reported that since the Covid pandemic, the group had regularly met at each other’s homes every Sunday to watch the church service via livestream.
And it was when she failed to turn up for their regular Sunday slot that she was reported missing.
According to the source, one of the friends contacted Annie — Nancy’s daughter and Savannah Guthrie’s sister — to report that Nancy had not shown up and could not be located.

DARK TURN
The news comes as the search appeared to take a dark turn over the weekend as investigators were filmed searching a septic tank.
Nancy, 84, has been missing for over a week after she was taken from her home in Tucson.
Drone footage taken on Sunday shows them searching the tank behind Nancy’s house.
Three detectives were seen putting a long pole down the manhole at the rear of the property, but it is not known what they are looking for.
It comes just 24 hours after officers were last seen at the property where they removed a car from the garage and took a camera off her roof that appeared to have been missed in previous searches.
Meanwhile, investigators also went back to her daughter Annie’s home on Friday night.
Officers arrived in an unmarked vehicle and stayed for around two hours, during which time camera flashes were seen in the garage and other parts of the house, per Fox News Digital.
Annie and her husband Tommaso Cioni were the last people to see Nancy before she went missing after going for dinner and dropping her home on January 31.
Law enforcement officials believe that Nancy was taken from her home, as the elderly woman has mobility issues that would have made it difficult for her to leave on her own.
Officials have not commented on if any members of the Guthrie family have been ruled out as suspects in her disappearance.
NEW VIDEO
Heartbroken Today star Savannah also issued a new video, urging everyone to keep an eye out for anything suspicious as an exchange deadline written in a reported ransom note passed without word of Nancy’s release.
The ransom note indicated that Nancy could be harmed if the demand of a payment of $6 million in Bitcoin is not met by Monday at 5pm MST.
Hours before the deadline came to pass, Savannah returned to social media to inform the public they couldn’t continue this search alone.
“I wanted to come on and share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare,” she said in the video.
“Law enforcement is working tirelessly, around the clock trying to bring her mom, trying to find her.
