COLD-BLOODED OR CAUGHT ON CAMERA? Haunting New Surveillance Footage in the Nancy Guthrie Case Reveals Disturbing Clues That May Lead Police to the ‘Night Stalker’

Police will analyze everything from the way the person captured on camera walked to the gun and holster in their waistband

CHILLING clues in the new Nancy Guthrie surveillance videos that could finally lead cops to a suspect are now being revealed.

The U.S. Sun spoke with top security expert Brian Fitzgibbons with USPA Nationwide Security, who broke down the crucial details of the newly released surveillance images that will help shape law enforcement’s profile of the suspect or suspects in Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s abduction.

Savannah‘s mother, Nancy, 84, was taken from her home sometime in the early morning hours of February 1 and has been missing since.

Fitzgibbons said the first essential revelation from the footage, which police say shows a “potentian subject” of the investigation, is that the person’s approximate body composition is being revealed.

“First and foremost, investigators are going to be able to ascertain height and approximate weight from this.

“They will likely look to enhance the images shown to the public and get better depictions of his eyes, and while this may not be able to identify a suspect, it will help with comparison when one is developed.

Savannah Guthrie breaks silence on terrifying video of masked intruder

“He is wearing bulky clothing to hide his body shape and thick rubber gloves, a full face mask – this was not a crime of opportunity and was not done in haste,” he said, adding that this was clearly not a home invasion gone wrong

Fitzgibbons also noted the person’s apparent mustache could be seen in the video from the Today Show anchor’s mother’s home.

The expert also noted the gun that was in his waistband.

PISTOL IN WAISTBAND

Fitzgibbons believes the gun is a mid-sized semi-automatic, “like a nine millimeter, a Glock, a Smith & Wesson,” he believes.

He says you can tell the type of gun by the look of the grip in the handle, “you can see part of the slide,” the expert explained.

Meanwhile, firearms expert Alain Stephens with the Association of Gun Violence Reporters added that while the video gives little to go on, there are some clues with this weapon.

“He is armed with a semi-automatic pistol,” Stephens said, which account for about 70% of guns recovered.

“If he was armed with a rifle, it’d be something the feds could perhaps narrow in on; simple because rifles of all types account for 12% of recoveries.”

But pistols, he said, “are easier to steal, build, dispose of. That creates a huge margin of sourcing, and easy to dump evidence.”

The weapons holster actually offers seemingly more clues.

“He is carrying a universal holster. That hurts us narrowing down firearm type, but it also shows a lack of tradecraft,” the firearms expert added.

INTRUDER’S BEHAVIOR

Meanwhile, security expert Fitzgibbons said that, more interesting, however, was the behavior of the potential subject with the weapon.

“The thing with the weapon that stands out to me, you’re committing a very serious felony, open carrying, an outer waistband holster.”

“You know, knowingly, on video, not caring just displays a tremendous amount of confidence for this.

“I would add that to the body language too, like this guy had zero frantic energy, no panic in his movements, like slow, methodical kind of behavior, no panic in his movements.”

As far as why it took investigators this long, a week and a half since the kidnapping, to obtain these images, Fitzgibbons said there were several hoops law enforcement had to go through to get them.

“The camera was physically removed in this case and on top of that, according to the Pima County Sheriff, Mrs. Guthrie did not have an active subscription to store the video from her system.

“Search warrants would have been obtained and Google would have had to recover these files.”

The expert added, “Bottom line: this is the largest lead in the case that we as the public has seen.”

It confirms that Mrs. Guthrie was targeted and the victim of an armed intrusion and kidnapping.  No part of this individual’s body was uncovered.

“The level of detail done to hide his identity and to limit leaving any DNA at the scene leads me to believe that this person was not acting alone.”

He also said he believes this major development will bring in more crucial leads for investigators.

CHILLING SURVEILLANCE

In the chilling surveillance footage released Tuesday, a masked and armed intruder tampered with a security camera outside Nancy Guthrie’s home on the night she was abducted.

The video shows the individual ripping plants from the property and using them to block the camera’s lens just hours before the 84-year-old was taken from her residence.

The intruder was seen wearing a balaclava, a jacket, pants, black gloves, and a backpack.

In the first clip released by the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the subject approaches the front door with a hunched posture, raising a gloved hand to obscure the camera.

THE COUNTRY CLUB KINGPIN. 🚨 Tapalpa is known for its “Magic Town” status and peaceful mountain air. But at the center of the resort, one house held a secret that could topple an empire. Villa No. 39 wasn’t a fortress of iron—it was a fortress of irony. Elite forces bypassed the manicured lawns and resort security to find the world’s most feared man living a double life in a standard two-story family home. No bunkers, no gold-plated gates—just a rushed exit and a life left in shambles. The final chapter of the CJNG didn’t end in a war zone; it ended in a postcard-perfect retreat.
BOMBSHELL: THE KINGPIN HAS FALLEN! 🚨 He survived a decade of war, but he didn’t survive a Friday night in Tapalpa. Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes—the man who defied three governments—was finally captured after intelligence tracked Guadalupe Moreno Carrillo to his secret mountain refuge. The operation was fast, violent, and final. As the helicopters hovered over Mexico City, the man who once projected absolute control was fighting for his life in the back of a black hawk. The myth of the “Ghost of Jalisco” is over. The reality of the raid is darker than anyone imagined.
! 🚨 Everyone knew her face from the screen, but NO ONE knew her real name. Authorities have finally confirmed that El Mencho’s partner used her adult film career as the perfect smokescreen to infiltrate the inner circle of the CJNG. Her true origins trace back to a place no one expected, making her the most successful infiltration in modern history. The kingpin thought he was in control, but he was living with the very person designed to take him down. The “star” was actually the “spy.”
