you all – the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between.
‘I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all.
For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.

“Tonight, outside Boston, police are investigating the deadly shooting of an MIT professor found in his home in Brookline. Authorities say Nuno F.G. Loureiro, who taught nuclear science, was found shot multiple times at his home.

“He was rushed to the hospital, dying hours later, no word tonight on a motive or any possible suspects,” the seasoned broadcaster revealed. The breaking news segment was subsequently posted on ABC World News Tonight’s Instagram page with additional details, reports
“Massachusetts police are searching for a suspect in the killing of an esteemed MIT professor. Police say Portugal native Nuno F.G. Loureiro, who taught nuclear science, engineering and physics, was shot inside his home in Brookline. David Muir reports,” the caption explained.
Social media users wasted no time expressing their alarm in the comments section. One concerned viewer wrote: “I wonder what is going on all these people being killed in their homes this past weekend was thriller night. Lord Jesus protect us all with your holy blood. To you be the Glory. Rest in peace.”
One individual expressed, “God, what’s going on unbelievable tragedy after tragedy. God bless his soul,” while another questioned, “What is going on in the world? ! ! So sad. May he rest in peace!”

Nuno F. G. Loureiro, 47, was discovered Monday night at his residence in the affluent Boston suburb of Brookline.
He was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds and was later declared dead on Tuesday, according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.
Officials are probing whether his death might be linked to the recent shooting at Brown University. However, a senior law enforcement official briefed on both cases told ABC News there is currently no evidence suggesting a connection.
MIT confirmed that Loureiro was a “faculty member in the departments of Nuclear Science and Engineering and Physics, as well as the Director of MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center.”
The DA’s office stated that the homicide investigation is still underway.
