A SURVIVOR of the Swiss bar fire that killed 40 has shared photos of the burn scars on her face and hands.
Eleonora Palmieri, 29, shared snaps on Instagram showing her injuries after a lucky escape from the fire.

Pictures show her face, hands and arms thickly bandaged after she suffered severe burns.
The fire tore through Le Constellation in Crans-Montana, Switzerland as revellers celebrated the New Year in the early hours of the morning.
Eleonora managed to get out at the very last second as flames engulfed the alpine bar.

She told La Repubblica: “How did I save myself? I don’t know, my survival instinct brought me outside.”
Eleonora shared the photos in a video on social media where she thanked her boyfriend and the doctors who had cared for her.
She wrote: “I want to say thank you to those who never let go of my hand: to my family, my safe haven, and to my boyfriend who stayed with me even in that hospital room.
“A huge thank you goes to the doctors and all the hospital staff who are treating me with the utmost professionalism and humanity.

The touching video flicks through carefree pics of Eleonora in happier times, mixed with photos of her recovering from her injuries in hospital.
She captioned the video “POV: Together even in that room”, referencing how her boyfriend stuck with her through it all.
Eleonora was treated at Niguarda Hospital in Milan, before being transferred to Bufalini Hospital, Cesena, so she can be closer to her family.
She escaped the inferno because she was near the exit when the fire broke out, and her partner searched for her in the crowd outside.
Many others weren’t so lucky – 40 people died in the fire, many of them teenagers.
Her mum, Cristina Ferretti, said “she was not far from the entrance to the restaurant, and she was saved because she managed to escape quickly”.
Eleonora added a touching tribute to those who perished in the fire.

She wrote: “A thought goes out to the angels who didn’t make it.
“Never stop honoring life.”
