RAHEEM Sterling has been keeping himself busy in the football world despite his exile from Chelsea.
The 31-year-old winger was told there is no place for him in the first team at Stamford Bridge, despite Liam Rosenior offering a “clean slate” to every player.

Sterling, though, has remained busy, using his newly-found free time to pass insight and knowledge on to young players – primarily through his RS7 Academy set-up.
The academy has now partnered with UCFB (University Campus of Football) with plans for future university students to also take part and gain experience within the set-up.
While keeping himself busy, Chelsea‘s biggest earner on £325,000 per week is still looking for a way out of Stamford Bridge.
West Ham have asked about taking Sterling on loan, but he wants a permanent move, with Fulham also interested – though they are making moves to sign another forward in Oscar Bobb from Manchester City.

The brutal reality of the Chelsea “bomb squad” was laid bare by SunSport in September, with Sterling training alone at 8pm, eating alone, and even using a separate toilet from other players.
Concerns have been raised by fans over his wellbeing and treatment by those at Stamford Bridge, particularly in November when his house was broken into by masked thieves armed with a knife.
But, he has at least had his academy to help him keep busy while trying to stay fit and train at the same time, uploading videos to Instagram of his hands-on sessions with youngsters, which have been very well received.
Speaking about the programme, Sterling said: “Providing UCFB students with real-life experience is incredibly important to their development, and working alongside the RS7 coaches gives them the confidence, support and trust they need to gain truly valuable hands-on experience.

Sterling himself has been especially praised for his work, not only helping children achieve their footballing dreams, but also helping coaches on their way into a tough industry.
Darren Smith, a senior lecturer at UCFB Wembley, added: “The academy, especially Raheem Sterling and what he’s doing in the community for kids at all levels, is a huge benefit for our students, seeing the development of growth from the beginning and not joining an established football programme.”
Sterling, for all his good work, is running out of time to make a January move to a new club.
