SCHOOL’S OUT…FOR EVER
A large-scale search began on Saturday to find the boy thought to be involved in the crash, and the woman who was with him.
The Alpine task force scoured the slope with drones and police gathered evidence, including ski poles.
Cops found the poles had been rented nearby, which may have helped them identify the teen.
Witnesses also noted that the boy’s skis were white, which could have helped find the skier.
Luckily, the 14-year-old turned himself in.
An autopsy has now been ordered to determine the 49-year-old’s cause of death.
It follows a ski tragedy earlier this month in northern Italy.
A 49-year-old British skier died from a heart attack while traversing the slopes in Claviere.
He was later taken to hospital in Susa in the city of Turin before his body was laid to rest.
