The saying first came to prominence when the Manchester City striker told Arsenal defender Gabriel to “stay humble” following a match between teh two teams last season.

Arsenal fans responded by goading Haaland in the reverse fixture, which Mikel Arteta’s side won 5-1.

Myles Lewis-Skelly mimicked the City striker’s yoga celebration after scoring while Gabriel also screamed in his face.

Arteta warned after the match: “That’s down to the players but they know my view on it. We have to focus on us.

“Leave anything that happened that’s part of the game on the pitch.

“I have been in football a long time. Just leave it — there is nothing there to do.”
