Boyfriend reveals the hiker’s heartbreaking dying words after horrific alligator attack
THE heartbroken boyfriend of a hiker mauled to death by an alligator has revealed her tragic final request as she lay dying after the horror attack.
Brittany Clark, 31, was dragged into a brutal fight for her life after a 13ft alligator burst from the water in Florida and ripped off one of her arms.

With her final breaths, Brittany begged partner Chance Allison to make sure her beloved German Shepherd, Hokie, would be looked after.
The couple had been hiking with Brittany’s roommate, Jayden Hernandez, at Little Big Econ State Forest when the horror unfolded last week.
They were standing in around three feet of water in the Econlockhatchee River when the giant alligator suddenly emerged and attacked.
Chance, 30, said the attack came “out of absolutely nowhere”.

He told the New York Post: “While we were waiting for emergency services to arrive Brittany just told me to make sure I took care of Hokie.
“It was one of the last things she said to me. I can’t recall anything else.”
The distraught boyfriend said he had also brought his Pitbull mix, Bulma, on the hike.
He recalled: “We were smiling and talking and then it was complete chaos.”
Chance desperately tried to pull her free as the beast clamped its jaws around her.
Newly released bodycam footage captured the frantic moments after the attack as a Florida deputy raced through thick brush to reach the scene.
The footage showed Brittany lying beneath a tent on the riverbank.
Chance said he had put the tent over her to shield her from the blazing Florida sun while they waited for help.
The grieving partner said the pair had been making plans for their future together before tragedy struck.

He said he decided to speak publicly to correct what he described as false claims about the attack.
“I am in no way, shape or form wanting any of the attention out of this,” he said. “I just want the facts to be right.
“I keep seeing negative stuff about us and things that aren’t true that keep getting out there.
“It’s just kind of heartbreaking but people are going to think what they think.”
Chance also denied claims by an anonymous hiker that Brittany’s group had been warned not to enter the river.
He said: “No one told us not to go in the water.
“We talked to one person on the way in and all he said that I heard was that he used to bring his dogs out here. I don’t know anything else that he said but that’s all I can recall.
“If he said it, it wasn’t vocal enough for us to catch it.”
The 30-year-old also rejected reports that he performed CPR on Brittany.
Instead, he said he focused on trying to keep her comfortable while using his hands and a towel to slow the bleeding.
He also stressed his dogs were not in the water when the attack happened.

Chance said they were “near the water on the bank trying to fend off the gator and barking at it while me and Jayden dragged Brittany up the bank.”
He is now helping Brittany’s family organise her funeral and is also planning a celebration of her life.
“She was an awesome chick, man,” he said.
“Brittany was the most outgoing person and loved to be in the outdoors.
“Every weekend we would go on the water power boarding or kayaking or out in the boat. She made sure every weekend at least one of the days we were out on the water.”
The latest update comes days after Chance shared an emotional tribute to Brittany on social media.
He wrote: “I’m just still in disbelief of what took place.
“We had so many things planned out and memories to be made.
“You were such a special person and did not deserve to go out in such a way.”
Promising to care for her pets, he added: “I love you and don’t worry about shady and hokie I’ll take care of them forever.”
Chance also confirmed he is arranging a celebration of Brittany’s life.
