A SCENE in beloved Disney movie Enchanted shockingly depicts a store called “Epstein’s books” – as close links between one of the film’s producers and the paedophile can be revealed.

The 2007 family movie depicts a cartoon princess navigating the real world of New York City – and ends with a scene where characters are making gowns for children.

In the sequence, a group of young girls in princess outfits is shown but when the camera transitions to the next shot, it pans directly to a storefront bookstore prominently labelled “Epstein’s Books”.

While this could be a coincidence, the Epstein Files reveal a deep personal and professional relationship between Enchanted producer Barry Josephson and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, raising questions as to whether its inclusion was a deliberate reference.

Josephson, 70, who served as one of the two main producers of Enchanted, appears extensively in the files – sharing multiple emails and even posing for photographs with Epstein.

Photos from the files – released by the US Department of Justice – show the two men together on the set of the 2015 Western movie Edge.

In one, the pair sit in the director’s tent, while in others they pose surrounded by young women whose faces have been redacted on the set.

In another Josephson, who has worked on movies and TV shows including Bones, Dirty Grandpa and Kiss of the Spider Woman, pretends to tie an unknown female to some railway tracks.

The pair also emailed each many times between 2010 to 2018, with Josephson taking loans from Epstein and even arranging an audition for Enchanted for the financier’s god-daughter Celina Dubin.

In one alarming 2011 email exchange – years after Epstein’s conviction for child sex crimes, the predator asked Josephson if he knew of any “amazing women in their early 20s that would like to be an assistant”.

Josephson responded by recommending a woman who had worked for him on two previous films, stating: “I have ‘the’ girl. Her name is [REDACTED]. She worked for me on two films. Young, attractive, insane rack, smart, although not a genius, but very efficient. will do anything, and tight lipped period end of story.”

Josephson later offered to provide her contact information or have her call Epstein directly from Los Angeles.

The film producer also arranged auditions for movie parts for women and girls known to Epstein – including his goddaughter Celina Dubin.

In one 2011 email after Celina’s audition, Epstein wrote angrily: “I cannot tell you how annoyed i was to hear that someone was harsh with my god-daughter. you have no idea.”

Josephson wrote a long email back saying:  “She said she just gave her the feedback she tells all the young actors that come into her.

“The whole auditioning process is brutal, its harsh, its filled with disappointment.”

He went on to explain how difficult it was to get his own wife a “small six line part” on Bones.

He added: “I’ve apologized to Eva [Celina’s mother]. and I’m reluctant to call Celina directly. If you’d like me to kindly speak to her, apologize directly, I will do that. Also if you want me to set up another ‘kind & gentle’ audition I can easily do it.

“Again I’m sorry and will do anything to make amends.”

In 2015, he also offered to help Epstein make a movie about men who are “falsely accused” by women.

Josephson offered to put the script through his own company, writing: “Certainly the side of the coin NOT covered by news outlets.”

He borrowed $120,000 from Epstein in 2011 and $215,000 in 2013, according to the files, both of which were repaid.

In another 2013 email, he listed his expected future earnings – including $300,000 for Enchanted – and wrote: “As in the past, I will pay you back as quickly as possible with interest.

“Again, I’m so fortunate that I have a friend who’d consider helping me during a difficult cash flow moment.”

Josephson often told Epstein what a great friend he was, including in 2013 when he emailed him saying: “Your an amazing friend! Nothing I wouldn’t do for you.”

A year earlier, he wrote to Epstein: “Hope you’re thriving and as always thanks for saving me”.

In another gushing email he wrote: “I am overwhelmed by your friendship.”

Josephson was also in regular contact with Epstein’s primary assistant, Leslie Groff, regarding introductions and coordinating meetings.

Communications continued as late as June 2018, with the two men arranging to meet at a pizza restaurant in New York City.

Josephson’s wife – singer Brooke Josephson – announced she was divorcing the Hollywood producer, with whom she has two children, after his name surfaced in the files.

Announcing the news on Instagram in February, she wrote: “In light of recent events in the news this week I am prepared to share a personal update.

Horrors of Zorro ranch

SHOCK claims of men being raped and women being strangled to death in violent sex games at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro ranch have been revealed in a bombshell doc.

Attention is shifting to the billionaire paedophile’s “baby-making” ranch in New Mexico after several survivors and witnesses made chilling claims.

The claims include industrial scale depravity, cold-blooded murder and even a “human farm” where his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell snatched newborn babies from their mother’s arms.

In a series of harrowing interviews on Australia’s 60 Minutes, they paint a picture of a desert fortress where even men were subjected to vile sex attacks—while the FBI allegedly sat on tips about bodies buried in the dirt.

On the explosive new doc, survivor Chauntae Davies – who was trafficked by Epstein across his properties in Caribbean island, New York, Paris and St Tropez – says Zorro was the most terrifying of all.

She said: “The scariest was Zorro Ranch. It’s in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by mountains and miles and miles of dirt.

“There was a lot of time being in my room like a mouse in a trap waiting for a knock on the door and for someone to say, ‘Jeffrey is ready for his massage now’.”

When asked what was meant by that order, Davies replied: “Rape, full on, forced on sexual rape.”

“Barry Josephson and I are going through a divorce. I was not aware of Barry’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein during our entire marriage.

“I respectfully request privacy and prayers for our children and I during this time.”

A representative told The Sun: “Mr. Josephson had no role in suggesting or choosing any of the names in Enchanted. All names either came from the writers or the director.”

The Sun has reached out to Disney for comment.

In a previous response to publication Variety, back in February, Josephson admitted he socialised with Epstein and allowed him to visit him on set twice, he never travelled on his private jet or saw him with minors.

He said: “There’s no excuse for what I said in some of my emails. The language was crude and juvenile and I’m ashamed.”

Josephson added: “My biggest regret, bar none, is that I foolishly believed his denials of wrongdoing… I apologise to all who were hurt by this clearly terrible and depraved individual.”
