Apparently, Shamar Elkins, the man who murdered his seven children and one of their cousins , already told his wife YEARS AGO what he would do.

According to his adoptive mother, Betty Walker, he said it in her kitchen plain as day:
“If you try to leave me, I’ll k*ll you, the kids, and myself.”

She checked him. Told him not to say no mess like that.

And what did he say?
“I’m just playing.”

Fast forward.

He’s was put here cheating, reportedly sleeping with sex workers. His wife confronts him, files for divorce, and they’re literally supposed to be in court the next day. He doesn’t want the divorce. He’s talking to family about how he’s feeling.

And instead of accepting that she’s DONE… he follows through on the exact threat he already made.

He murders his children and their cousin. Chase the teenage child but she got away and shot his wife’s sister.

So no, this is not one of those “we had no idea” situations.
This is not some mystery.
This is not something that came out of nowhere.

This is a man who said exactly what he would do if he lost control, and then did it.

So all that “mental illness” talk y’all love to run to? Save it.

This was entitlement.
This was control.
This was “if I can’t have you, nobody can.”

And the real issue is how often this kind of behavior gets brushed off until it turns deadly.

“He just talking.”
“He mad.”
“He don’t mean it.”

Meanwhile women are out here trying to leave and that’s the most dangerous moment for them.

Black women are doing what they’re told to do- leave, protect themselves, get out, and still paying with their lives because a man decided his ego was worth more than everybody else breathing.

But sure… let’s keep acting surprised and deflecting with whataboutism while mentioning yt folks when it’s about our demographic.
