Woman’s body found near Phoenix canal raises questions in Nancy Guthrie search
A woman was found dead along a canal in Phoenix — prompting speculation over a possible connection to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.
The remains were found Friday, more than 100 miles from Tucson, from where the 84-year-old matriarch went missing on Feb. 1.
“Details on the call indicated that an adult female was on the nearby canal bank and was unresponsive,” the police said in a statement. “When officers arrived, they located the woman, who was ultimately pronounced deceased on scene.”

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her home near Tucson — more than 110 miles from Phoenix — on Jan. 31.Facebook/Savanah GuthriePhoenix police have yet to release any identifying information about the woman they found, but the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement to Fox News Digital that they have not been alerted that there’s any connection to the Guthrie case.
The slow pace of the investigation has frustrated Guthrie’s loved ones — including her daughter, “Today” host Savannah Guthrie, who has offered a $1 million cash reward for information leading to her safe return or recovery.

Security footage recovered from Nancy’s doorbell camera captured a masked man — possibly two different men — loitering on her doorstep the night before police believe she was kidnapped.
A large amount of evidence recovered from the home, including traces of blood, is still being investigated. However, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos warned it could take up to “a year” to analyze it all, particularly the evidence containing DNA.
The PCSD told The Post that the investigation remains very active with some 300-400 personnel still assigned to the case, the same as when the case was first opened.

Jason Miller slapped me so hard in front of our entire homeroom that my pink Stanley cup rolled under Brianna’s desk. And the worst part? He didn’t look sorry until he saw everyone staring. My husband broke my leg because I slapped his mistress. Then he locked me in the basement and told his staff, “No food. No water. Let her learn what happens when she forgets who pays for this house.” He forgot one thing. This house was never paid for by him. PART 1: THE SHOES BY […]

My brother thought he could beat me at 2:19 a.m. and still eat breakfast in the same kitchen like a king. He forgot one thing. Morning has witnesses. At 12:03 on a Thursday, my phone rang while I was answering emails at the kitchen table. Lily was asleep under a blanket in the living room, the house was quiet, and for one stupid second I almost let the call go to voicemail because I thought it was spam. Then I saw the school’s […]
