Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, remains missing—and Megyn Kelly just pointed out a key detail about the Today co-anchor’s new video.
On the Feb. 24 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the former Fox News host, 55, discussed Savannah’s Instagram video announcing a $1 million reward for information that leads to Nancy’s recovery. The 84-year-old was last seen at her Tucson, Ariz., home on Jan. 31.

Specifically, Kelly honed in on what Savannah said at the beginning of Tuesday’s message: “I’m coming on to say it is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed.”

“No one has ever said that before,” Kelly pointed out of the bed detail. “In fact, the sheriff said it early on and then took it back and said he didn’t mean to say that and wasn’t confirming whether or not she was taken from her bed.”
She added, “But there it is, straight from Savannah Guthrie herself. That’s news.”

James Hamilton, a former FBI special agent, weighed in on Savannah’s remark.
“Is she just saying that? As if to say, you know, sometimes in kidnappings, like a JonBenét Ramsey taken from her bed type of deal. And it’s almost like something you would say,” Hamilton said. “But I’m with you. I think she was literally, that Savannah knows something that we didn’t know, and now we do know, that she was taken from her bed.”
Hamilton said that if that were the case, then it rules out the possibility of Nancy answering the door to the suspect. “If they roused her from her bed, that’s a totally different thing, and that’s significant,” he shared.
Additionally, Kelly speculated about the reason Savannah is now offering a $1 million reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy.
“There is also the possibility, I’m just gonna say, that the reason somebody close to Savannah talked her out of offering a million dollars early on is they thought somebody might come out of the woodwork and point the finger at them,” she said.
