Investigators carried out a late-night search of Savannah Guthrie‘s sister Annie’s home late Saturday night amid a renewed hunt for evidence of her missing mom Nancy.
As the search for Nancy Guthrie, 84, stretched past its seventh day, law enforcement returned to her daughter’s home in Tucson, Arizona, and were seen taking photographs inside the property for several hours until around 10:30pm local time.
A mysterious silver briefcase was also seen being carried inside by an agent, as reporters at the home struggled to see what officers were photographing or seizing from inside.
Annie’s home was previously searched earlier this week, as cops said that she and her husband Tommaso Cioni were the last people to see Nancy after having dinner with her on January 31, before she vanished hours later.
Authorities have not said what new evidence was collected, but it comes a day after a car was towed from Nancy’s garage and a camera was taken from her roof that appeared to be missed in previous searches.
Hours before Saturday night’s search at Annie’s home, she joined her Today Show host sister Savannah and brother Camron in a bombshell video to social media addressing their mother’s abductors.
The siblings directed their remarks to the kidnappers, telling them they ‘received your message’ and ‘will pay’ ransom demands.
Savannah did not offer details over the communication her family received nor the demands that she agreed to pay, but appeared to indicate that her family had been contacted directly by those claiming to hold her mother hostage.

Outside the home on Saturday evening, NewsNation reporter Brian Entin shared footage from the scene showing camera flashes in a number of rooms throughout Annie’s home, including two bedrooms and a large family room.
Entin said a high number of photographs were being taken inside the home, and several law enforcement vehicles waited outside while the search was carried out for several hours.
Another reporter at the scene, Fox News’s Michael Ruiz, said journalists had been kept at a distance from the home as photographs were being taken, and said the media was in the dark over why agents had returned.
He questioned in an X post: ‘My question is why would you go back to take photographs in the dead of night?’
